In A Frog’s Job, you are a frog ninja tasked by the frog god to find 40 lost frog souls. You get a cool time stop mechanic which is the centerpiece of the game and will be used through all 40 short and easy levels.

A Frog's Job
You get a moving slime board you can stand on that’ll play a role in most puzzles.

The game is good and introduces new concepts up until the very end, but it comes way too fast. Platforming masters will blow through this in an hour or less. Even I’m left wondering, “That’s it?” Its only $4.99 but there are other five dollar games that provide way more levels and challenge.

A Frog's Job
The purple blocks can be jumped through with time moving, but not with time stopped.

There’s something to be said for a short and well made game vs. a longer, less well made game. But with A Frog’s Job, I’m left wondering if there was more, but was left out for some reason. Leaving me wanting more isn’t bad thing, but still, I’m thinking there could have been more here.

Overall: A Frog’s Job is a very well made game that’s over way too fast.

Verdict: YMMV
