Before I formally review Hot and Hentai, I would like to share an exchange I had with RedDeer Games. So beneath a post advertising that they were going to showcase games at IndieMania 2024, I asked them if these games were going to have fifty versions. They replied with:
Nope 😉 We don't want to use such market practices anymore and we are going to change our approach to new launches 😉

I was stunned that they not only replied, but said they would do better. To which I replied I would hold them to it, and they responded with:
Haha, alright. What can we say, we reap what we have sown. But there are a lot of changes ahead, including ideas for visual rebranding, etc., we wanna definitely move in the right direction 😎

If they turned a corner, what exactly is RedDeer Games doing releasing Hot and Hentai, another abysmal game that barely qualifies as a game? Probably doing it for the same reason I’m doing this review, the hits. I have no doubt their hentai series are profitable. They probably cost peanuts to make and sell well. So what is Hot and Hentai? Its one of those sliding tile puzzle games where they show you the answer. There are six pictures in total, with four puzzle each. You’ll still solve the game in twenty minutes at the maximum.

Now there is space for DLC, which hasn’t gone up yet, which leaves me worried. Will Red Deer Games hold to their promise, or release thirty thousand versions of Hot and Hentai onto the masses? They hinted that diminishing returns set in and their reputation was in the toilet. I’m interested too see what they ultimately do. Because in the end, profit is where it matters. That is probably why Pakotime is still in business. But Red Deer is not Pakotime, so time will tell. Regardless, this game gets a customary Garbage verdict with a one back-end score.
Overall: Hot and Hentai is another abysmal release from RedDeer Games, who promised to do better. Time will tell if that pans out.
Verdict: Garbage
