Wormhole is Snake on steroids. You play a planet eating snake who gets bigger the more planets you eat. Hit yourself or smack into a wall at high speed, and you lose a life. And this is all made to look like a Game Boy game. Observe:
The name Wormhole comes from the various wormholes present on each stage. Enter one side, come out the other in the direction you entered. Stages will also features walls and other kinds of critters, such as a planet eating skull. The main thrust of the game is fifteen zones divided into four stages each. Each zone after the first has different zone variations, such as zone 2-A and 2-B. You earn EXP with each stage completed. Gain levels and you’ll gain new visual options and even new snakes with different abilities. Also, in between zones you can unlock buffs, such as extra planet spawn or even slowing down the game.

I have to give Pocket Moon Games credit, they created a fun game that is better than Snake. I enjoyed my time with Wormhole and appreciated the increasing difficulty with each zone. As the zones get progressively harder, you’ll have a hefty challenge on your hands. Plus any stage you unlock by playing can be used in Marathon Mode, where you see how many planets you can eat before you die. I give this a Must Play and a nine back-end score. There is really nothing wrong here, and I have precedent giving simple, fun games a Must Play Verdict(like Oxytone). It doesn’t matter if you aren’t AAA, if the game is fun, its fun!
Overall: Wormhole is Snake on steroids and is made to look like a retro Game Boy game. I gave this a Must Play!
Verdict: Must Play
