I don’t really need to do this review of Suika Game, a three dollar puzzle that has been sitting atop the bestsellers list on the E-Shop for months. I will anyway for reasons that will become apparent. This puzzle game is very simple. You drop fruit into a box. If two of the same fruit touch, they make a larger fruit. Your goal is to make the largest fruit, a watermelon. It is far easier said than done, It is fun, challenging and addicting, and will get an automatic Must Play because Suika Game is “Mordie Bait.” I love games like this. I will now spend the rest of the review telling you why don’t necessarily have to buy this game. Hear me out!

Suika Game’s problem is that it exists online, for free. Yes, there are several sites which host it, including this one. There’s no music, the physics is slightly worse, and the fruit look different, but its more or less the same game. However, there doesn’t appear to be an official cell phone version, yet. Though there is a knock-off one. Why there isn’t is beyond me. Regardless, you can play for free, though honestly, the Switch version of Suika Game is far better IMO. But if you want to try before you buy, go online first.

Finally, I’ll end off this review by stating known asset flipper Max Interactive Studio, who I tend to avoid, is releasing their own knock-off later this month to capitalize. It’s already available for pre-order for two dollars. I know what they’re doing, attempting to undercut Suika Game. Unfortunately for them, Suika Game is still up there and I doubt Big Watermelon Match will sell very well. As for its quality, it’ll probably be OK, unless they find a magical way to screw it up. A review will be coming for that one when it comes out.

Regardless, what are you waiting for? Play Suika Game!
Overall: Despite being online for free, if you haven’t played Suika Game, why haven’t you? Play it!
