Darts Club

Darts Club is a mobile transplant darts game. You know, the pub favorite where you toss darts at a board. I didn’t know how the game is actually played. You have to score exactly one-hundred-one points before your opponent does. If you go over, you “bust” and must try again. You can either use the touch screen, which is best, or the buttons and stick, which is terrible. The issues of this game are legion and drag what would ordinarily be a decent game down to the depths of hell. Like I said, Darts Club is a mobile transplant, complete with loots boxes, daily challenges, and a skill shot for an extra box.

What do the Darts Club loot boxes contain, you might ask? Well dart parts and dart part exp and coins. You see, your ability to play is dependent of the dart quality. In the beginning, hitting where you want seems to be random. So, you need to get better parts. To level up individual parts, you need to gain exp by either winning or finding it in the boxes. In order to actual level up once the threshold has been hit, you need to pay coins. And that is the game play. Play Darts, win, level up, win some more, get loot boxes. If you level your darts high enough, you can unlock a new arena and tougher opponents.

Darts Club as I said, was a mobile transplant, like a lot of titles i review, like Operate Now. Unfortunately, the actual part where you play darts is basically rolling a dice to see if you hit. Maybe later on, things get more skill based, but early on, you suck. The AI also functions on a random number generator as well(or so I think). What this all adds up to is a bad game. Yeah, its not stealing your wallet, but it just isn’t any fun. Therefore, I give Darts Club a Not Recommended with a five back-end score.

Overall: Darts Club is a mobile transplant where the ability to hit your target is a random number generator.

Verdict: Not Recommended
