Princess Maker 2 Regeneration Switch Review

Princess Maker 2 Regeneration

Princess Maker 2 Regeneration is a modernized version of the original PM2, released decades ago. I am very familiar with it, because a pirated English release floated the internet, so I played it, and turned my daughter into the lord of darkness. The original version was firmly for perverted middle-aged Japanese men, complete with a secret Undress, which does exactly what you think it does. So here comes a modernized, and only slightly sanitized version. Gone is the Undress, but you can marry your daughter and you can increase the bust size of a thirteen year-old girl. However Both of these are missing in the Playstation edition. And people say Nintendo is family-friendly!

Buy the Buxomize pill, get larger breasts on an underage girl!

I’ve already reviewed the other Princess Maker on switch, Princess Maker – Faery Tales Come True! Princess Maker 2 Regeneration is actually a fair bit deeper than that one, due to light RPG sections, called Errandry, which I’ll get to in a moment. Otherwise, they’re similar in play style. You set your daughter’s monthly schedule, either classes, work or rest. Classes cost you money. Work makes you money. They both affect the two dozen stats which will affect the ending. You have to watch her stress level, especially early on, as she’ll get sick or delinquent. You play from her tenth birthday to her eighteenth birthday, at which point you get your ending.

Princess Maker 2 Regeneration
WHY IS SHE TOPLESS?!

Princess Maker 2 Regeneration also has the Errandry sections, which present interesting quests and situations, like the ability to take part in the orgy of the damned(or not). You’ll fight monsters(that will increase your sin if you kill them). You’ll get powerful weapons and armor. There are four different areas in total, Forest, Desert, Lake and Mountains. The Desert is probably the most interesting of the bunch in my opinion, as it has the demons. It is important to note that this section is entirely optional, but makes it distinct.

Princess Maker 2 Regeneration
You can be a very bad girl!

I played through Princess Maker 2 Regeneration twice for review, once getting a dance instructor/pro dancer, the other a fighting instructor. I got a game crash during the first ending. so be aware of minor bugs here and there. Otherwise, the game is deep, and is replayable, only taking about two hours a game. I do suggest you consult a guide, however, as a lot of mechanics are left unexplained. There’s basically no tutorial.

Now the score. I absolutely ripped the other princess maker to shreds because of it its perverseness. It is still true here, this game is for perverts. I cannot in good conscience give it anything but a Your Mileage May Vary verdict for that reason. Supersizing underage boobs might be really off-putting to some. However, there is a solid game here that those who are interested will enjoy, so Princess Maker 2 Regeneration will get a seven back-end score. I now leave you with a meme that summarizes the Princess Maker Series!

Overall: Princess Maker 2 Regeneration is a deep simulator where you can corrupt your daughter, but the creepier aspects can be a turn-off to some.

Verdict: YMMV
