Menseki: Area Maze Search
Menseki: Area Maze Search is not Menseki: Area Maze Puzzles, though they share the same pedigree. Both have the developer, publisher and puzzle maker behind them. In the latter, you are finding the area of shapes, which functions as logic puzzles. I gave that a Must Play. Maze Search, on the other hand, is finding shapes or triangles in a grid with dots. Honestly, its good, though not nearly as engaging as Maze Puzzles in my humble opinion.
in Menseki: Area Maze Search, there are two modes, both called Triangle Search in game for some reason. They are really shape search, and triangle search. Shape search is what it sounds like, find shapes among the dots, as seem above. Triangle Search is finding triangles based on the area specified, as seen below. Both have two versions, time attack and challenge puzzles. Time attack is finding as many shapes or triangles in the time limit. Challenge puzzles are finding one very well hidden shape or triangle, and there are a hundred of each kind.
Menseki: Area Maze Search is a decent puzzle game. There’s nothing particularly wrong with it, but its simply a very simplified hidden object game. Instead of objects in a picture, you’re finding objects on a grid. This will get a Recommended instead of a Must Play. You should still try Area Maze Puzzles though, that is a fantastic game!
Overall: Menseki: Area Maze Search is a good variation on the hidden object genre. It simply is not as engaging as its predecessor.
P.S. Try Jigsaw Masterpieces!
