Bowling Fever Switch Game Review

Bowling Fever

Bowling Fever is a bowling game Published under the Baltoro Minis label under Baltoro Games. I don’t know what the difference is, but this is a good game. I’m not going to give it a Must Play because it is bowling, which never really translates into exciting game play unless you’re playing Wii Bowling, where you mimic you the bowling motion. Here you just slide the ball left and right with the stick, the forward to get the direction, then press A on the meter, and off you go. you can control it while moving for a short time, which helps. The game play is nothing spectacular in Bowling Fever, but it gets the job done here.

Bowling Fever!

There are several modes in Bowling Fever. Practice is where you play a practice round. Quick Game is a single round with a variable number of sets. Tournament is where you bowl against 3 other AI players in a ten set game, plus two bonus bowls. The AI puts up a challenge, so getting continual strikes is key here. Depending on your standing, you’ll get a certain amount of cash, which is used for buying specialty ball with different stats.Challenge is where you do various challenges for money, like bowl a ball through a moving target to hit a pin. Finally, there is multiplayer mode so you can play with friends. The modes in Bowling Fever are fine and it all works.

The issue with Bowling Fever, as I mentioned at the top, is that is a bowling game played with the stick. The regular games just aren’t all that interesting to be honest once you get the strikes down, but Challenge mode will put up a challenge for a bit. But for what it is, this is quite alright and worth a few sets if you’re into bowling games. Bowling Fever will get a Recommended with a seven back-end score.

Overall: Despite lacking longevity, Bowling Fever is good for a few rounds of bowling.

Verdict: Recommended
