I think its time I reiterate my views on AI in gaming. Every few weeks I get an angry comment calling me a hypocrite for using AI images for editorials. I am not a hypocrite. I am not against AI for creative purposes. In fact, I have another pretty successful side hobby devoted to AI Music (I keep my two hobbies completely separate, so I’m not linking to it here, but trust me, it exists). What I do have a problem with is charging money for your AI creations because its lazy. If you’re charging $19.99 for a crappy solitaire game, I expect you to make the waifus yourself. And that brings me to Solitaire World Anime Waifus.
Solitaire World Anime Waifus is quite possibly the worst solitaire game I have ever played. The controls are crap, you have to slowly move your cursor across the screen to do anything. The card dealing is completely random so you might not win a hand, yet the game won’t tell you that. You’ll have to manually go back to the main menu and start over. Win hands and you’ll get exp to level up to unlock card backs, face card variations and background. But the exp is so slow you’ll be playing hundreds of hands to get it all. And you’ll be bored to tears doing it.
Solitaire World Anime Waifus has nice waifus, but they’re AI generated. I can generate better waifus on various sites for less than $19.99. So where does that leave us? With a crap solitaire game. You’re better off playing free solitaire on Windows or any of the countless better solitaire games on the Switch. I give this game a Garbage verdict with a one score. Its lazy. The developers, epiXR, are no better than 17Studio. But gullible fools keep buying, so they keep selling.
Overall: Solitaire World Anime Waifus is a terrible solitaire game with AI generated anime waifus. Its a scam, do not buy it. You can generate hotter waifus yourself.
