Do you love cats? I mean really love cats? Well, if you’re a cat lover, Hidden Paws Mystery is for you. It’s a hidden object game where you zoom in on various 3D fantasy islands to find hidden cats and yarn balls. Cats might be sitting out in the open, or hidden behind an object you need to click to open. You can tell you’re close to a cat by its meowing. The barns of yarn are much harder to find because they are tiny, and usually tucked away.

Some of these cats blend into the environment well.

Hidden Paws Mystery has 100 cats to find over twenty islands. Its not the longest game, but the islands do get harder as they progress. Fortunately, you don’t have to find all the cats to go to the next island, so you can come back later to find them all.

My only complaint is that the hints just tell you how many cats or yarn balls are left, not where to look. Even so, if you love hidden object games, and/or cats, you’ll enjoy this immensely.

Overall: Hidden Paws Mystery is a lot like life, finding where in your house your cat may be hiding. Recommended for cat lovers and hidden object fans.

Verdict: Recommended
