Mythology Waifus Mahjong is a censored Gamuzumi game that, surprisingly, is pretty good. It’s a neat twist on Mahjong solitaire that carries itself. It almost makes you forget the waifus that, honestly, should keep their clothes on, if the Steam pictures are anything to go by.

This is a mahjong combat game. Instead of picking two of the same tiles, you are picking three. Your health bar on the left is consistently going down, so you have to be fast. Also note the bottom box. This is where your selected tiles go. But if you select seven tiles without a 3-tile match, game over. To help you, you get two shuffles and two helps (auto-matches) per board. While things start off easy, it gets difficult later on, so they become very valuable later. Overall, I enjoyed the gameplay, as it’s a neat twist.

Keep your clothes on baby!

There are waifus in Mythology Waifus Mahjong, but they never get nude here. Plus, some are ugly, and I don’t need to see that. Sure, “pretty pictures” of each one unlocks, but still, don’t need to see that as they don’t get much more attractive. There are sixty levels split between six waifus. While the game is not extremely long, it’s an enjoyable romp while it lasts. So just ignore the waifus and have a good time anyway. This is a very solid game.

Overall: Mythology Waifus Mahjong is a fun little romp where the waifus can be forgotten because the gameplay is solid.

Verdict: Recommended
