Super Hero Fighting Legends Switch Review
VG Games, AKA Virtual Globe Games, released a Last of Us ripoff called The Last Hope for the E-Shop, everywhere but North America. I’m not sure if it’ll arrive here. Maybe it comes today, since its a Thursday when I am writing this. Probably it won’t, and that’s a good thing. Still, I wanted to review it, but I have to jump through hoops to be able to buy it, so I’ll pass. Super Hero Fighting Legends – Anime Mortal Battle will have to do. It’s VG games’ attempt at a fighter, and I will spoil it right now, its not going to win the Hilariously Awful verdict. It’s just bad, with no charm present. I guess the best way to introduce Super Hero Fighting Legends is with a video:
Note how odd the animation looks in Super Hero Fighting Legends, its not fluid, its not natural. It just looks odd. There are six fighters, four dudes and two women. None of them are super heroes or even attempt to look like one. They’re all basically play the same. It doesn’t matter who you choose. There are six main attacks, three kicks and three punches. There’s also a super combo, except the game doesn’t tell you how to pull it off. I only know it exists cause the AI pulled it off. There’s also no blocking. On higher difficulties, winning becomes a matter of out attacking the AI. There are three levels to fight on in Super Hero Fighting Legends, but they’re all lifeless and ugly.

VG games is capable of better things, they made Stack Tower. Their problem is they aim high on a zero budget and always fall flat. Yesterday I reviewed Need For Drive, which attempted to be need for Speed, but failed miserably. Super Hero Fighting Legends aims to be a contender, but fails miserably It’s not that you can’t made good cheap indie fighting, Fight of Steel is a prime example, Just VG Games has no money and no passion. My suggestion is to stick to easy to make simple games. Instamarketing learned that lesson, VG Games can learn it too.

Overall: Super Hero Fighting Legends is proof you can’t make complex games on zero budget VG Games needs to learn this lesson.
Verdict: Garbage
