EntwicklerX makes no frills but solid knockoffs of other games. I’ve even greatly enjoyed some of them. Bubble Shooter FX is another Entwickerx game, no frills, decent bubble bursting action. Really there’s nothing wrong here in general. You aim bubbles at like-colored bubbles and they pop. You even have coins to earn you power ups. Everything works, it is fine.

I have no problem with minimalist games, like Mahjong Minimal or Cubic Figures. But those games had charm in their simplicity. The issue with Bubble Shooter FX is that there is no charm. It seems to have been churned out on a gaming assembly line. There’s nothing to draw you in here. If you like this type of game, you really can’t go wrong, but if you’re looking for something interesting and unique, maybe this NSFW version of bubble shooting may be up your alley.
Overall: Bubble Shooter FX is bubble shooting game with no charm, churned out on an assembly line. It works, just isn’t interesting.
Verdict: YMMV
