In Resident Evil 4, your inventory system was you had a case and you had to physically fit all the items of various sizes and shapes in it. The cases started out small but got larger as the game went on. We’ll somebody decided to turn that into a puzzle game named Save Room.

Yes, Save Room is a fit the objects into a larger object puzzle game, not unlike Cubic Figures. You have various weapons and ammo which must be fit into cases of various shapes and sizes, usually with no spaces left over. Things get trickier later on when you must combine ammo and reload weapons, which is critical for fitting all items in. The health bar in the upper left also plays a role in later puzzles as healing herbs must be used to heal you.

This an easier game than cubic figures, if for nothing more than you are fitting stuff into squares instead of weirdly shaped objects. Save Room is not mind-blowing, it’s just a decent puzzle game for fans of puzzles. If you’re looking to shoot Las Plagas, look elsewhere.
Overall: Save Room is not Resident Evil 4, just a chill object-fitting puzzle game.
Verdict: Recommended
P.S. Not sure what to recommend here… how about… Maggie the Magnet!
