Beauties Unveiled

Awhile ago, I reviewed a really hard Qix clone called Xposed. Beauties Unveiled is by the same developer, publishing under their own label(I think). It is more or less the same game as Xposed, just they did what any self-respecting developer does, make it all about the boobs. Instead of a variety of different kinds of pictures to unlock, you only have sexy women to uncover here. Now, this is rated M, though I’m not quite sure why, there’s not much skin and I’ve seen worse in T-rated games. Still, playing this, I kind of feel I was too hard on Xposed, giving that game a YMMV. Beauties Unveiled will get a recommended because I understand the logic behind it better now.

Beauties Unveiled Gets Hard!
This gets really, really hard.

Beauties Unveiled is really hard. You’ve got bombs that recover sections, turrets, various kinds of bouncing enemies(both in and out of the safe zone) and areas that kill you if you touch them. Like it predecessor, its much harder to clear areas. Essentially, what you clear needs to be free of enemies for it to count. This keep the enemies on screen and available to harm you at all times. I actually like it this time, now that I understand it.

The enemies that bounce in “safe zone” are new.

Each beauty in Beauty Unveiled gets three sexy poses, though they don’t strip off more than their underwear. Each picture you get a star for completion, not losing a life, and finishing under a certain time. So there is a reason to play multiple times to get all three stars. Overall, this isn’t Mokoko X, but this is worth if you want some serious challenge in your Qix Clone. This will get a Recommended with an eight back-end score. Finally, there are two free DLCs which add an extra woman each. Not sure why they aren’t in the main release.

Overall: Beauties unveiled for is people who want a serious challenge in their Qix clone while looking at pretty women.

Verdict: Recommended
