Warning: Waifu Space Conquest is naughty and not for children at all.

Waifu Space Conquest is a cyberpunk themed naughty Qix clone for Gamuzumi and Sweet Banana Games. Since I imagine those coming in from a search engine has never heard of Qix and its clones, let me explain. You have pixelated picture of a waifu, On the outside you have ship. You press A and move within the pic to cordon off areas. Inside the picture there are floating enemies to avoid, cordon them off, they die. Cordon off around 70% of the picture you win and on the next pic where the waifu will be wearing less clothing, until they are naked.

Waifu Space Conquest level 11

Its fairly standard stuff, and I’ve reviewed quite a number of Qix Clones, including Xposed, Pretty Girls Panic Plus! and the queen of them all, Mokoko X. My problem with Qix clones is very simple, they’re all the damn same. None of them, with the sole possible exception of Mokoko X, attempt to do anything different or move the genre forward. Waifu Space Conquest is a standard Qix clone, just with bare boobs. That’s it. There’s nothing particularly wrong with this game. There are fifty levels, and ten waifus to unclothe. There is a nice synthwave soundtrack that goes with the cyberpunk theme. The main menu is pretty cool too(its interactive)! Waifu Space Conquest floats to higher end of the Qix clone scale, but I wouldn’t put it anywhere close to Mokoko X.

Waifu Space Conquest Menu Screen

In the end, however, Waifu Space Conquest is just another Qix clone, which I’m getting rather bored of. If you want cyberpunk Qix with tits, this is for you. If you’re looking for something more, look elsewhere. This will get a YMMV.

Overall: Waifu Space Conquest is simply Cyberpunk Qix with tits. It’s honestly not as interesting as it sounds.

Verdict: YMMV
