Anime Poly Puzzle Switch Game Review

Anime Poly Puzzle – Sci-Fi Maidens is released by the same publisher who released Loot Box Simulator which they are still making more of under a slightly different name. In this game, you rotate a series of blocks around until get a picture of an anime-style sci-fi maiden. I’m almost certain these are AI generated, because if you look at hands, they are strange, which is a dead-giveaway. Anyway, that’s it, that’s all this game is, just rotate the blocks to get a picture, and keep going, There’s no main menu, no settings, no credits. Nothing. Just select you puzzle and rotate the blocks. Its boring as hell and in many ways scummy.

Anime Poly Puzzle -Sci-Fi maidens is garbage.

AI image generation has done wonders for scummy game companies like the one behind Anime Poly Puzzle(something called Cat Box). No longer do you actual have to create images yourself, just have the AI do it and sell it. You’ll make a fat profit. We’ve seen this elsewhere, like in Anime Sexy Girl Puzzle and Jigsaw Ice Princess. In fact, let me do this right now using Midjourney. Type in Anime Sci-Fi Maidens and…

AI generated image using midjourney

There, I made a better image than what Anime Poly Puzzle even provides. And I can generate hundreds of these. I’ll put then in a simple, probably pre-made game, charge $2.99, and sell it on the Nintendo E-Shop. Genius, why didn’t I think of that before? Maybe I should learn to code and get into game development… In all seriousness though, this is pure unadulterated garbage. Instead of wasting money on this, spend it on AI image generators, and have your fun instead.

Overall: Anime Poly Puzzle – Sci-Fi Maiden is a crappy puzzle game using AI generated images.

Verdict: Garbage
